Step 2A – Keep Your Body Alkaline

Add baking soda to the water you drink in step 2. Just add 1  teaspoon of baking soda to 8 ounces of water 3 times a day. You should also try to eat foods that are alkaline. By keeping your body alkaline, you will be healthier and more resistant to illnesses.

The body is alkaline when the pH is over 7.0. The pH of the Body Important because a alkaline body is a healthy body. 

Although there is a debate on the health benefits of a alkaline body, the cost of baking soda is less than a dollar a month and it just make the water taste a little salty. You should drink a lot of water every day so adding baking soda to it three times a day is easy.

It is important to to your baking soda on an empty stomach. I leave 1 hour after I have eaten and 1 hour before I eat.

Who Should NOT Use Baking Soda?

  • People with oedema, liver disease, kidney disease, or high blood pressure.
  • Nursing mothers or pregnant women.
  • Anyone on a sodium-restricted diet
  • Children younger than five years of age.
  • Anyone who has just eaten – allow digestion time.
